Maria Eugenia Guevara Arana, who has a M.A in Education with English Emphasis from Universidad del Norte, Barranquilla, Colombia, has worked in the area of English Language Teaching for the last 25 years.
She was born in Cali, Valle, on October 9th. She enjoys and loves teaching!

ENGLISH LEVELS
At Universidad Simón Bolívar, we work on the Communicative Approach, which allows students to interact inside or outside the classroom.
Besides, there is an emphasis on Pruebas Saber Pro on reading and vocabulary skills.
The University offers 6 English levels for students and 8 levels for teachers and its own administrative personnel who wants to learn the language.

Nowadays, we are working with an online platform which is very appealing and dynamic.

Nobody knew about the virus, nobody was prepared, nobody was ready to be lockdown what we only knew was that we have to change our lifestyles, our teaching strategies and mostly to deeply understand our students' necessities, needs and wants; so here we are, trying to teach in a way we can share our knowledge and transmitting our passion and love to our students.
